You curse yourself for having lost Bob and slowly begin making your way back through the utilidor. Back in the station, you stomp down the hallway towards your room, glaring at everyone you pass. Arriving at your room, you sigh deeply at having failed in your chase, and you open your door. "Surprise, happy birthday!" You stare in amazement at your room, which is full of people, balloons, and a big birthday cake. You are informed that Bob was, in fact, used as a diversion, and that your Nutella stash has been safely returned -- along with several additional jars, thanks to your cargo friends' secret connections in McMurdo. Congratulations, you survived the game! You spend the remainder of the day eating cake and playing in your room full of balloons. |
